One of the things I wanted to do when I got to goal was have some nice family portraits taken as I had hidden from the camera or been the photographer for so long. Here's a couple we had done a couple of weeks ago.

Girls just wanna have fun....

I'm trying to catch up on favourite blogs and was inspired by I'm Just Linda to list favourite songs on my ipod.

Songs that never fail to pick me up:
Pink: So what!
Alesha Dixon: The Boy does Nothing
Beyonce: Single Ladies
Taylor Swift: Best Day
James Brown: I Feel Good
Black Eyed Peas: I Gotta a feeling
Guy Sebastian: Like it like that

Songs that inspire:
John Butler Trio: Better than
Nickelback: If today was your last day
SheDaisy: Don't worry about a thing (no I'm not into country however love the words of this)

Songs that take me back:
Lousie Armstrong: Its a beautiful world (our wedding song)
Cyndi Lauper: Girls just wanna have fun (the first song I ever did aerobics to, hey it was the 80's)
ABBA: Dancing Queen; My first favourite band, loved Mamma Mia had the best night out with friends the see the stage show and it was the first song my son danced to on his first night out when I had seen him drinking. Very funny, had to be there. BTW He is 18, that happened during my AWOL).

I'm inspired though to add more to my ipod as a reward for this week's weight loss so am going to hunt around Les MILLS site to find some great workout music.

Anyone out there????

I know, I know..... I've been AWOL, not sure how many of my gorgeous bloggers are still around. Leave of absence began with a huge workload, then computer virus that would shut down everytime I entered Blogland. Call to the computer tech and his visit today has been another holiday chore successfully accomplished! Yay, I'm back!
I went away last week to Northern NSW to visit my Mum and Dad. A visit filled with love and lots of food. All the strategies we talk about at WW were called upon. However at the end of the day, you want happy memories of time spent with family, not for them to feel stressed by constant focus upon MY food choices. Resulting in my first 1kg gain since getting to goal. All's good though, a week of Fast Start and am so focussed and have lost that kg. In fact I'm motivated to getting to my personal goal, another 4 kgs. I am at WW goal and in my healthy BMI, however want to have a bit more wiggle room for special events etc. I have been focussing upon learning maintance as it was an important skill I didn't learn the first time I reached goal.
I love the Fast Start program in week 1 of the Satisfaction program. The recipes are so good. I realise my portion sizes have been gradually become bigger and I have started to include more snacks. All healthy, however all points add up. Its good after doing a program for awhile to reassess and look back through program material and become remotivated. Always feel so good when eating wholefoods and exercising.
I clocked up 77,000 steps one day while away walking around Robina Shopping Centre on the Gold Coast. This is way  retail therapy should be. OMG this centre is so beautiful, I had a ball. I love being a size 10/12 and being spoilt for choice.
Anyway my lovelies, have to share a delicious muffin recipe from July 2010 WW mag. Thiese are so good. The original recipe is 3 points, however by Baking in mini muffin tins only 1.5. I love these muffins for brekky on really busy mornings as a change from my porridge.(I'm the porridge queen). They freeze and zap in the microwave perfectly. Are great also for afternoon snack to tide you over until dinner.
